Since I don’t wash my curls every day, they’re usually pretty tangled when I finger-comb them on washing days. The easiest and fastest way to detangle and comb my curls is by using the Kinky Curly Knot Today!

Although I really like the way the Kinky Curly Knot Today detangles my curls I don’t use it every time I wash my curls, but I only use it if I feel like I’ll spend 15 minutes combing my curls without it. I can’t actually tell why I’m not using it every time, maybe it’s because of its consistency – it does feel more like a gel than a conditioner. This also means you won’t be able to combine it with every styler if you’re using it as a leave-in. Combining it with creamy styler might leave you with little white flakes (looking like dandruff). If you’re up to trying a new styler you can combine it very well with the Kinky Curly Curling Custard, however make sure not to use too much of this styler as it’ll otherwise leave your curls looking greasy.
