I’ve tried this new conditioner as I think it’s good to change your hair routine every now and then. Whenever you add a new product to your routine or try a new product make sure to keep all other products the same. This is the only way you’ll be able to notice what effect the new product has on your hair. So I used this conditioner with my usual CurJunkie shampoo and styler.
What I think about the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Conditioner:
It’s a really light conditioner, which won’t weigh your hair down at all. I really like this about the conditioner, however I don’t think it’s a really rich conditioner leaving my hair with too less moisture to keep frizz away all day. Meaning I won’t use this conditioner in my routine as a conditioner during washing my hair as it leaves my hair too frizzy.
However I tried it as a styler for secondday hair and I definitely liked it, because it doesn’t weigh my curls down. I can also imagine adding it to my usual conditioner as a leave in, I still have to try if this works out. My conclusion about the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Conditioner is that it’s a good conditioner for curlies with fine hair that shouldn’t get weight down by a conditioner and curly hair that doesn’t need as much moisture as mine and it’s definitely a keeper for secondday hair.
