My favorite hairstyle to do sports

Are you tired of always just putting your curls into a pontytail to do sports? If so, this is the perfect 2 minutes – hairstyle tutorial for you! It’s my favorite hairstyle to do sports because it’s easy to do and it’ll keep your curls away without being frizzy.

You’ll need:

  • 2 hair ties
  • maybe some bobby pins

1. Put your curls into a ponytail,  make sure you put your curls into a rather tight ponytail to really keep them in the hair tie while you’re working out. Then split your ponytail into three sections

2. Start braiding your ponytail by crossing the left section over the middle one and then the right over the middle one and so on.

3. Fix your braid with another (thin) hair tie.

If you feel like the ponytail isn’t tight enough or if some of your curls aren’t long enough to be put in the hair tie – use some bobby pins to also keep these curls out of your face.

With this hairstyle you can jump around as much as you like – it’s not easily destroyed! Also if you’re going to a yoga class this hairstyle won’t interfere with any positions (unlike a ponytail, which can be very uncomfortable while laying on your back).

      Hi Emma, I’m glad you like it! If your curls are too short you could also try any hairstyles with french or dutch braids 🙂
